Being a Business Development Manager means creating strong business relationships with dealers in the Automotive, Leisure, Marine and RV industries. Currently, due to growth and expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team for a 6\xe2\x80\x939-month term. You will develop and implement action plans and business development strategies based on established business strategies. You will work with Automotive, Leisure, Marine and RV dealerships on Vancouver Island (Victoria based) to enhance our National Bank brand in market, help grow our loan portfolio and increase our market share.   • Identify emerging business opportunities in the market and make recommendations regarding those opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with dealers and various other internal parties across all related business lines.
  • Establish a preferred relationship with clients and ensure client satisfaction by providing personalized service.
  • Increase the visibility of the Bank\'s products and services by taking part in various external activities, industry shows, and related events where required.

  • Completed Bachelor\'s degree in a related field and five years\' relevant experience or completed master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field and three years\' relevant experience
  • Experience and demonstrated success in B2B business development
  • Experience in account management, sales and customer service, an asset
  • Experience in the Indirect Financing industry or leasing, an asset

Particular Condition:The incumbent in this position has to be flexible to travel 90% of his/her time in their assigned region. A car and valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license are necessary for this position When not on the road, the incumbent in this position will be working from home. This is a home-office based role The role allows reimbursement of business travel expenses as per Bank Policy
