Position Type



Full-time - based out of our downtown Toronto, Ontario office.

Regular travel is required across Ontario and out of province.

Valid Ontario Driver's license is required

Use of own vehicle is required - expense reimbursement plan included

Responsibilities



You will:

Develop new broker relationships with the goal of growing our business while expanding our distribution on a national level.

Regularly communicate with broker partners to analyse customer service standards, identify variances from feedback, and coordinate resolutions for mutually agreeable outcomes

Analyze key trends/metrics in the sector to drive successful alignment strategies

Design and develop creative sales and marketing initiatives, including broker-facing events

Participate in leading broker presentations both virtually and in person.

Become familiar and conversational about our suit of products and stay up to date on industry trends and competitive intelligence

Develop and manage Broker database

Organize, execute and participate in various industry events on a national level, that are designed to promote the company and grow broker relationships.

Promote our model, values, culture and brand promise

Experience:



3 - 5 years of Property or Casualty experience, preferably in an MGA environment

Business Development experience preferred

Qualifications:

o Self-motivated and resourceful with good strategic and analytical skills

o Possess initiative, drive and business acumen that will grow our client base

o Proven ability to meet performance KPI's

o Ability to develop and implement sales strategies

o Keen attention to detail

o Ability to quickly gain in-depth knowledge of our specialty segments

o Excellent work ethic

Education:



o University degree or college certificate/diploma in Business (or related discipline) or a combination of education and relevant work experience

Professional Certification:



o Completed or actively pursuing an insurance Industry designation like CIP, CRM

Skills

:

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

o Strong written and verbal communication skills

o Excellent solutions-driven customer service skills

o Well-honed time management skills

o Good ability to analyze and problem-solve creatively and proactively
