What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:
Business Development/ Key Account Management
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive growth for Ivey Publishing. Identify and set sales goals for each region as required.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing initiatives that support sales goals.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and develop new business opportunities within the higher education industry.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Ivey Publishing\'s products and services to provide expert guidance to customers and sales team members
  • Manage and develop the sales team, providing coaching and support to help team members achieve their individual and team goals.
  • Develop and own the process for evaluating potential partners that incorporates cross-functional input from all teams (Product/ Systems/ Marketing/ Finance).
  • Develop and negotiate premium services and pricing offers for select customers and lead overall product pricing strategy.
  • Provide and interpret regular sales and usage reports, dashboards and presentations for Management team.
  • Oversight of conference and event travel planning and exhibiting, including budget management, ROI analysis and coordination with marketing efforts.

Customer Service Management
  • Lead the customer service team, ensuring that customer inquiries and issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient customer service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and IT, to address customer issues and provide solutions to improve the customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Ivey Publishing\'s products and services to provide expert guidance to customers and customer service team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including refund and return policies, and work with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections.
  • Develop, execute and analyze customer satisfaction survey and provide regular updates to the Management and Executive leadership.
What You Have: Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management, partnership management or business development.
  • Minimum of 3 years budget management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power Point and CRM systems (Salesforce). Experience with Tableau preferred.
  • Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Experience in Higher Education or learning technology preferred.
  • Experience within e-commerce sales preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive business decisions
  • Strong business planning and prospecting ability with a proven track record of achieving growth and hitting departmental objectives.
  • Proven ability to make data-driven recommendations and decisions.
  • Strong understanding of revenue and royalty models.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; ability to make compelling presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner with tact and discretion.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Exhibits initiative and innovation in project management and plan tracking/reporting.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally and work outside of regular business hours.
  • Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and passport required.

Location: London, Ontario Position Type: Full-time (35/hours a week) 3-year renewable contract. Hiring Range Based on the salary band for this role, candidates can expect to be offered a starting salary in the range of $72,600-$90,800. When determining salary, Ivey Business School considers the external market, candidate qualifications, as well as internal equity. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the range and beyond the hiring range of the band, through annual increases.
