Main Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of new Utility leads and market opportunities within selected Utility accounts within Canada
  • Develop and deliver Solutions based on GE\xe2\x80\x99s technology products, solutions, and services suitable for Utility applications including Transmission, Distribution and Generation
  • Develop suitable Sales Account Plan and Go-to-Market strategies
  • Successfully growth orders and sales, influence specifications, and support pipeline development efforts
  • Be accountable for meeting or exceeding the orders, sales, and margin targets
  • Shape and Deliver Value-Added propositions to customers and key accounts
  • Provide technical expertise during customer presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, and testing
  • Support Commercial Segment Leaders and Product Line Leaders with definition and execution of the Product Line strategy, with emphasis on Product enhancement, New Product Introductions, and value proposition
  • Be an essential link between customers and Grid Automation\xe2\x80\x99s marketing, engineering, and product development teams
  • Develop and cultivate long-term relationships at all levels of customer organizations
  • Provide market dynamics input, such as competitive intelligence and industry trends to the Marketing and technology team
  • Participate and contribute to industry guides, conferences, and standards
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales, technical and business development experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the Transmission and Distribution applications
  • Ability and willingness to travel:

  • Power Systems experience or Electrical infrastructure experience within the Transmission and Distribution Segment
