Position Overview
We are looking for a driven, proactive
Business Development Manager
to help grow our commercial renovation business. This individual will play a key role in lead generation, client management, project estimation, and strategic collaboration with our internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial renovation space across the Greater Toronto Area.
Client Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, business owners, landlords, and developers.
Project Estimation:
Conduct site visits, understand scope of work, and collaborate with our team to create accurate, competitive project estimates.
Trade Shows & Networking:
Represent Octopus Renovation Group at industry events to build brand presence and generate new leads.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to shape outbound strategy, and with project managers to ensure a seamless transition from signed deal to project delivery.
Qualifications
Proven track record in B2B sales or business development--preferably within the commercial construction or renovation industry
Could be as bonus experience with commercial project estimation and proposal writing
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple leads and accounts
Familiarity with the GTA commercial property market and construction process
Ability to attend in-person site visits and events as needed
