Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be part of the Business Development department supporting the growth and expansion of telecommunications services. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship management skills, a passion for technology, and a competitive spirit which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Business Development ManagerLocation: Calgary, AB:

  • Support the development and lead the execution of strategic business development plans targeting enterprise-level customers in the telecom industry.
  • Identify and prioritize potential business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to expand the company's presence in the telecom sector.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with C-level executives, key decision-makers, and stakeholders across Senior Housing, Hospitality, and High-Density Multifamily buildings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product management, and finance to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Telecommunications and Sales within the Hospitality/Senior Housing Sector.
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Adept in understanding technology and communicating with individuals at the IT management and CTO level.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on market trends to develop new business opportunities.
  • Professional character with a competitive yet cooperative disposition.
