About the Position:
This is a full-time support staff Bargaining Unit position reporting to the Manager, Development & Outreach working 35 hours per week at an hourly rate of $28.56.
The Business Development Coordinator will be accountable for the development, and facilitation of new partnerships and projects in the Research & Innovation department, including contract services and traditional applied research projects. In addition they will be responsible for determining partners' eligibility for external funding programs.
The successful candidate will collaborate with research centres staff, researchers, and R&I office to develop new projects in collaboration with industry and develop and review supporting partnership development documents including expression of interest (EOI) and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
Additionally, the Business Development Coordinator will maintain the CRM database and develop internal reports using the collected data. He/she/they will remain current on provincial, federal, and other research development funds; assist RI leaders and centres in identifying and new areas of research and potential partners.
