The Business Coordinator will report to the Finance Manager, Radio within our Media Finance Operations team, and will work out of our Toronto location. The successful candidate will manage AP deliverables, prepare monthly journal entries and provide other financial and administrative support. The candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, ability to organize, and collaboration with business partners.

What you will be doing:

  • Facilitate and prepare purchase requisitions using the Oracle Financial System.
  • Code and prepare vendor invoices for authorization, submit all invoices to AP department; complete vendor and employee inquiries and other AP duties as required.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and review select GL accounts for accuracy.
  • Assist in month-end reporting.
  • Administration of talent fees and miscellaneous billing forms.
  • Maintain and monitor contract listing.
  • Provide other ad hoc support as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of financial and/or accounts payable experience.
  • Enrolment in financial program an asset.
  • Must be reliable, conscientious, a team player.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of Oracle would be an asset.
