Office space with current technology and access to necessary information will be provided in HSBC Place, Fredericton, NB for the duration of the engagement. The department is willing to consider a hybrid work environment with a mix of in office and remote work.

Contract Duration: Asap until 18-Sep-2024 end date (Possibility for extension and conversion to FT)

Standard Hours per day: 7.25

Deliverables

The following Business Analyst deliverables will be the responsibility of the candidate. Specific deliverables include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in the creation, review and update of other deliverables, including but not limited to:
  • Reporting requirements;
  • Business impact analysis;
  • Business process diagrams;
  • Use cases / business models;
  • Gap analysis;
  • Testing & Implementation plans.
  • Participate in activities related to the procurement of goods and services in accordance with the Procurement Act, including but not limited to:
  • Creating RFPs and RFIs for medium and large procurement efforts;
  • Developing scorable criteria;
  • Developing evaluation criteria for submissions;
The individual will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement and complete the Department\xe2\x80\x99s Privacy Training prior to commencing the assignment.

Requirement Detail/Qualifications

General Duties:
  • Support the software development team.
  • Work with both client and development team members to elicit requirements, write user stories, define goals, document requirements, and analyze business functions to become familiar with the business domain.
  • Identify business work flows and determine stakeholder needs.
  • Author test case specifications, requirements traceability documentation, and contribute to the compilation and execution of test plans.
  • Support and contribute to the Agile practices adopted by the development team.
