The Opportunity (Role Summary) Summary
We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst co-op/intern who will assist in supporting the product team, as needed, with their day-to-day responsibilities. You must be an actively enrolled post-secondary student completing co-op hours to be eligible for this role.
As TheAppLabb\xe2\x80\x99s Business Analyst Intern/co-op, you will have the opportunity to establish and grow long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Your strong passion for relationship building, as well as your entrepreneurial spirit and aptitude, allows you to support your clients through holistic advice and conversations regarding their business needs. Applying your mindset for client acquisition, you will develop new businesses and deepen client relationships. By partnering with other innovative specialists across the organization, you will contribute to helping TheAppLabb achieve a dominant market position in mobile innovation and technology.
What you will do (Responsibilities) The base responsibility

• Gather requirements, analyze specifications and business processes.
• Participate in design phase of the project.
• Develop and execute test plans for quality assurance and system testing.
• Assist with user acceptance testing and project implementation.
• Ensure production issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.
• Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
• Consistently deliver high-quality results.
• Understand principles of the matrix organizational model and operate within that framework.
• Estimate costs and benefits of multiple actions and/or solutions and provide recommendations
• Help launch new initiatives
• Other duties, as assigned

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll need (Required Qualifications) Required Qualifications Formal Education or Equivalent

• Pursuing a Diploma and/or bachelor\'s degree in business or equivalent
• Minimum 3.0 GPA

Experience

• Basic understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure management and notifications
• Basic knowledge of development practices, Agile ceremonies and use cases
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Testing practices and JIRA
• Good communication skills
• Experience in business analysis, documentation, process flows, visualization
