Network Infrastructure

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia\xe2\x80\x99s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

Network Automation

As complexity of the networks grows the need for automation in every aspect of management and control continues to increase. Network Automation provides innovative, differentiated and personalized solutions that enables our customers to meet their time, cost, performance, and quality objectives.

Network Services Platform (NSP) provides efficient ways to automate, optimize and assure network services across multiple network layers, physical/virtual infrastructure, as well as equipment from multiple vendors.

Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for bachelor\'s degree or diploma in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related field with an accredited school in Canada.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

  • Assist in designing automation tools to retrieve, manipulate, collate and present reporting data using Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) techniques, Power BI data visualization and Large Language Model (LLM) tools, with \xe2\x80\x9cdrill down, what-if\xe2\x80\x9d analysis capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Business Operations managers, Finance staff, testers and users to refine requirements, develop, and test reporting automation solutions.
  • Work in a collaborative, team-based Agile environment.
What is Nokia looking for from me

You have:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid programming skills (e.g., Java, Python, etc.)
  • Experience working with Excel at a master level, data management tools and ETL
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and tools
  • Good presentation skills to \xe2\x80\x9csell\xe2\x80\x9d your proposed solutions to team members and management
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, KNIME/Tableau/R/Alterix or similar tools
  • Familiarity with database access (primarily Microsoft SQL) via interface APIs
  • Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLM)
