Tasks

RESPONSIBILITIES.

Organize
and plan the equipment and instruments in topographic survey works and large-scale civil works.

Coordination of the Bridge Management Technical and Department issues, as well as supervision of the work team regarding data collection, calculation of volumes, locations...

Operate and ensure maintenance and use of all topography and civil engineering equipment.

Manage stakeout planning, loading and unloading of field data.

Control geometric work and calculation of errors.

Coordinate the update of instrument software when necessary.

Coordinate geometric design of work., and interpretation and update of plans.

Follow and implement the Quality plan.

Ensure compliance with the health and safety policy.

Ensure compliance with current environmental regulations.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND
ABILITIES.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree

Preferred: post-graduate studies in Geodesy Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Strong knowledge and experience in topographic survey methods, structures and geometric calculations.

The ability read and use information from maps, graphic drawings, and measurements taken in the field.

A minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of progressive experience in a surveying role; experience in construction and engineering surveys, in a leadership position.

Experience in the sectors of heavy civil infrastructure, highways and bridges or rail and transit.

It is required that the selected person has worked at least in one Mega Project, more than 1 billion dollars, in the last 5
years.

The person needs to show huge experience in all the Construction works related with Earthworks, Roads, Structures: Bridges, Viaducts, Tunnels, Utilities, etc.

The candidate must have a valid driver's license.

Experience with GPS, Robotic Total Stations (Leica, Trimble).

Computer skills and the ability to use AutoCAD (Civil 3D), MicroStation, Leica Geo Office Opens a New Window. MS Office, MS Excel.

It is essential that the candidate has knowledge about and manage the software MDT, PRESTO, CLIP and ISTRAM as he/she will be using them in the daily work.

Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high level of reliability.

Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent.

Salary: $55.29 per hour.

Benefits:

Schedule: from Monday to Friday. Saturdays on occasion.
