We're hiring a Taproom Supervisor who brings energy, adaptability, and a love for local. This role includes working in our taproom, at events, and on board the

Troubled Trolley

- our 16-passenger pedal pub. In this role, you'll work alongside our Taproom Manager to lead shifts, support the team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You'll bartend and serve in our taproom, take a leadership role during events, and represent Troubled Monk at community functions. This position is hands-on and service-focused, while also giving you the opportunity to develop the business planning and strategic skills that could position you for future leadership roles here. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:



Leadership & Culture



Lead a high-performing team of taproom servers, pedal pub drivers, and event staff Cultivate a positive, professional, accountable, and energized culture rooted in kaizen and guest-first hospitality Be a hands-on presence - supporting, coaching, and elevating the team during service

Taproom Service



Deliver friendly, upbeat service to guests in the taproom and on the patio Serve tables, operate the bar, and ensure the space is clean, stocked, and guest-ready Maintain compliance with all AGLC, AHS, and OH&S service regulations Participate in staff meetings, service trainings, and new product launches, and events

Pedal Pub (Troubled Trolley)



Act as an on-board host, MC, and brand ambassador during pedal pub tours Keep the vibe fun and on-brand while ensuring guest safety and responsible consumption Complete pre-tour safety checks (training provided) Optionally operate the bike as a driver (Class 5 license required)

Events & Off-Site Hospitality



Serve at private rentals, festivals, expos, and community activations Represent the Troubled Monk and Troubled Tea brands with professionalism and personality Set up and tear down service stations as needed

Product Knowledge



Learn and share information about Troubled Monk's products - beer, spirits, tea Stay curious and ask questions - we'll help build your knowledge, but you're expected to keep learning Contribute to a team that's proud of what we pour and how we present it

What We're Looking For



Positive energy and a strong work ethic - hospitality is fast-paced and team-first Proven experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles Flexible availability: evenings, weekends, and holidays included Excellent communication and people skills - you're the face of the brand Confidence to MC, lead tours, and keep the vibe fun and professional on the pedal pub Self-starter with the ability to jump in, stay organized, and adapt on the fly A growth mindset - you're eager to learn, send feedback, take initiative, and level up as the brand evolves 18+ with valid ProServe & ProTect certifications (required) Valid Class 5 driver's license (asset, not required) A genuine love of craft beverages and the people who drink them Willing to stand for long shifts and lift to 50 lbs safely (keg handling, restocking, etc.).

Pay: $16.00-$21.00 per hour
