The Brewery Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive environment for staff and customers alike.
Duties
Plan, organize and evaluate the beer manufacturing operations of the brewery.
Develop and implement plans to efficiently use raw materials, labour and equipment to meet brewery production targets.
Plan and manage the beer production budget.
Develop beer recipes, production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, chemicals and finished products.
Plan and implement changes to beer manufacturing machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work (SOPs).
Direct a quality control program and develop production reporting procedures.
Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the repair or replacement of brewery equipment.
Supervise and train employees in the use of brewery equipment or production techniques.
Move raw materials, finished product and packaging materials throughout the brewery in support of wort production and packaging.
Operate pumps and clean in place equipment in the brewery.
Clean and sanitize equipment.
Handle a large workload with multiple preventative and repair tasks/projects.
Set up brewing equipment and make running adjustments to ensure maximum efficiency.

Experience
Five to ten years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or engineering.
Two to three years of brewing, cellaring and canning experience in a commercial brewery.
