Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food safety and meal preparation. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary. Help train new kitchen staff on food handling and preparation techniques. Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Strong skills in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed. A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy delicious meals.

Pay: $15.91-$25.65 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Overtime Weekends as needed
