Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Line Cook to join our culinary team. Cooking to order all styles of Egg based dishes, but not poached eggs. After the breakfast menu finishes, the cook moves to the lunch menu, which is Italian style deli sandwiches sliced to order.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all dishes Assist in inventory management and stock rotation Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering services as needed

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen environment Strong knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen tools A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing exceptional service
