We are seeking a reliable and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, organized, and able to prepare a variety of high-quality breakfast dishes in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for setting up the kitchen, cooking breakfast items to order, and maintaining a clean and efficient workstation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items including eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausages, omelets, toast, and other morning dishes.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service begins.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and tools.
Comply with health and safety standards and food hygiene regulations.
Monitor food inventory levels and communicate shortages to the kitchen manager.
Assist with prep tasks as needed for the next day's breakfast service.
Handle multiple orders simultaneously while ensuring consistency and quality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cook, preferably in breakfast or brunch service.
Knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
Ability to work efficiently and quickly under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Culinary training or certification is a plus but not required.
