Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Camp Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong commitment to food safety and quality. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly. Currently we are looking to fill the Breakfast cook / baker position. There is room to grow into other positions within the kitchen. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food handling and preparation practices comply with health and safety regulations and food safe policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Assist in menu planning and development, offering suggestions for seasonal dishes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, or feedback.

Requirements

Previous experience in Camp food service or a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently when needed. A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy delicious meals.

Rotations are currently 2 weeks on and 1 week off, Crew change is on Sundays.

We do not offer transportation to or from camp, Drivers license and vehicle are preferred but there are multiple options for a bus service from most cities to Fox Creek.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $240.00-$300.00 per day
