Branch Operations Manager

at our Surrey branch! We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee the parts and service teams and provide daily directions in branch operations.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a strategic leader to support the growth and efficiency of our Parts and Service departments while driving cost-saving initiatives. In collaboration with department managers, the Branch Operations Manager shares responsibility for supporting internal operations, cost control, and aftermarket analytics (Parts and Service). The role also includes managing assets and personnel, including vehicles, facilities, safety, WIP, parts inventory, tooling, recruiting, training, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities:

Parts, Service, and HR support

Hands-on assistance in the Parts department when required

Safety and compliance oversight

Facilities and asset management

Manufacturer, vendor/association, and customer relations

Supporting the Sales department and collaborating with the region.

Branch Interface

Drive growth, cost savings, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Communicate and reinforce company goals, values, and quality standards among staff.

Ensure budgetary compliance for capital purchases, labor reviews, and G&A expenses.

Audit accountability for cost lines (Goodwill, Overtime, Freight Recovery, R&M accounts, etc.).

Manage warranty processes with the Regional Manager and OEM/Suppliers.

Support and promote Parts and Service marketing and sales initiatives

Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and customers

Oversee inventory audits (new/used/aging parts) and asset management.

Enforce compliance with company HR, policy, and safety standards.

Collaborate with Sales and Corporate to control costs related to inspections, trades, and rentals

Manage customer satisfaction initiatives, including CRM surveys and reporting

Uphold and support DLE's corporate mission and vision

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

3 years of direct work experience in a senior management capacity or proven acumen.

Proven organizational, strategic planning, and implementation skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Skilled in prioritizing, scheduling, and managing multiple demands.

Confident decision-making and leadership under pressure.

Solid understanding of financial reports, budgets, and expense management

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and related business software.
