Ascend Pediatrics is expanding and has an opening for a Bookkeeper! Ascend Pediatrics specializes in providing clinical, in-home, or community support to families. This unique contract position will allow you to expand your skills of working as an individual and a part of a multidisciplinary team, ranging from Psychs, OT, PT and therapy assistants. At Ascend we provide programming that supports the growth and development of children within a child centered environment through play-based learning. We are able to offer flexible scheduling (days, evenings and weekends) and a fun inviting environment. At this time, we are open to discussing scheduling and working to align work loads to match different scheduling needs of the chosen candidate. Responsibilities:
Posting of all receivables and payables
Preparation of payments
Reconcile bank accounts
Reconcile corporate credit cards
Completing payroll
Completing Contract Pay and Breakdown
Completing bank deposits
General bookkeeping duties
Assisting in timely collections of Accounts Receivable
Assisting with financial needs of clients
Generating weekly and monthly reports for management
Assemble year end information
Other financial administrative duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
Be comfortable working independently, as well as within a multidisciplinary team
Show strong time management skills and flexibility
Comfortable working within Google Workspace, Quickbooks and POS systems
Awareness of Pediatrics and child development background considered an asset
