Bookkeeper / Office Administrator

Job Description

Bramalea Tire is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper / Office

Administrator to join our growing team. This role is primarily responsible for managing

day-to-day financial transactions and administrative tasks while supporting the smooth

operation of our business. The ideal candidate is adaptable, takes ownership of their

responsibilities, and is comfortable supporting multiple departments as business needs

evolve.

Responsibilities:



Accounting Finance:



Manage full-cycle bookkeeping (AR/AP, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.) Process customer and vendor payments, deposits, and credit card transactions Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare financial reports and assist with monthly closing Monitor overdue accounts and coordinate collections professionally Prepare and remit government filings (HST, WSIB, payroll source deductions, etc.)

Administrative Support:



Assist with payroll processing and employee time tracking Maintain organized digital and physical records of invoices, statements, and receipts Support inventory and purchasing processes with accurate data entry and reporting Provide occasional support to the showroom and service departments, as needed Assist management with administrative projects and reporting

Cross-Functional Collaboration:



As part of our team-based environment, you may occasionally be asked to support other departments or duties outside the immediate scope of this role. Flexibility and a team-first mindset are essential.

Qualifications:



Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer systems High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle sensitive financial information with discretion Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset Previous experience in a retail, automotive, or service business is a plus

Must be legally authorized to work in Canada No expired visas or criminal record Must be punctual, professional, and accountable Must be free from drug or alcohol dependency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
