We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/ Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing daily office operations, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping practices.
Duties
Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth administrative processes
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Perform bookkeeping tasks including account reconciliation and bank reconciliation
Processing Payroll and HR management.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks desktop & MS Office.
Conduct account analysis and prepare reports for budgeting purposes
Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Support the preparation of financial statements and assist with audits as needed
Collaborate with team members to improve office efficiency and productivity
Filing tax returns such as GST, PST, EHT & WCB.
Experience
Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar administrative role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is highly desirable
Familiarity with bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders
