Role Summary:
Duties and responsibilities that you can expect to focus your efforts on:
General correspondence and filing
Preparation of Bank reconciliations A/R and A/P
Calculation, reporting and filing of GST/QST reports, payroll and DAS and issues related to
Ability to travel to clients on a regular basis
Monthly and annual bookkeeping services using computerized bookkeeping systems
Preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts and completing month-end closings
Preparing personal and corporate tax returns
Communicating with clients & government
Working at our office and at clients? premises
Other related tasks
Position Requirements:
What you will need to succeed:
AEC, DEP or DEC in Accounting, accounting firm experience preferrable
3 years of experience in a similar position
Proficiency experience with such applications as Microsoft Office and accounting software such as Sage or Quicken
A high level of proficiency with Quickbooks and Quickbooks Online (QB online) is a requirement
Experience with multi-currency and multi-company accounting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French and English)
Proven organizational skills
