Shelter Overland Van Co. is looking for an individual to manage our books. The role includes:
Managing accounts payable
Transaction and bank reconciliations in Xero, including credit card reconciliations
Organizing office documentation (paper and digital)
Processing bi-weekly payroll (Wagepoint/Attendencebot)
Monthly PST, quarterly GST and quarterly Worksafe remittances
The Bookkeeper will work with our Office Manager (Madeline), Accountant (Damon Pallon and Associates), Purchaser (Jason), and HR Manager (Rosie).
This is a consultant role, or part-time permanent position; with biweekly to monthly visits to our shop in Esquimalt. This role could be combined with Logistics + Purchasing, or shop production work for a full-time position if that suits your background and interest. Given the nature of the position we are looking for the successful candidate to come on board for a fiscal year, or more.
