Bindery Folder Operator

, where you'll play a key role in producing high-quality folded materials for our healthcare and specialty labeling products. If you take pride in precision, have a strong mechanical aptitude, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain bindery folding equipment to produce quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Set up machines for different jobs, ensuring accurate folds, alignment, and production efficiency. Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and adjustments to equipment as needed. Follow 5S and workplace safety standards to maintain a clean and organized production area. Adhere to and perform duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Customer Specific Procedures (CSPs). Inspect finished materials for quality and accuracy; make necessary corrections to ensure compliance with specifications. Support Operations objectives, including continuous improvement initiatives and A3 projects. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or print finishing environment, preferably operating folding or bindery equipment. Experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP-compliant setting considered an asset.

Skills

Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting ability. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality output. Strong organizational and mathematical skills. Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work with minimal supervision. Safety-conscious with a continuous improvement mindset. Experience operating Stahl, MBO, or similar folding machines is an asset. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
