Bindery Stitcher Operator

, where you'll be responsible for producing high-quality stitched booklets and folded materials that meet customer and regulatory standards. If you take pride in accuracy, quality, and efficient machine operation, we'd love to have you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain bindery stitching machines to produce products that meet or exceed customer and quality specifications. Perform make-readies and changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime. Monitor production quality, performing regular checks for alignment, trim, and staple position. Troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical adjustments or repairs as needed. Ensure the proper handling, stacking, and packaging of completed work. Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to 5S and all workplace safety policies. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Customer Specific Procedures (CSPs) within a controlled manufacturing environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including A3 projects and process efficiency improvements. Perform other related duties as required.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or print finishing environment, preferably operating stitching, trimming, or booklet-making equipment. Experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP-compliant production environment considered an asset.

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills. Well organized with good mathematical and problem-solving skills. Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work independently. Safety-conscious with a continuous improvement mindset. Experience operating Muller Martini, Horizon, or similar stitchers is an asset. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
