Bindery Folder Gluer Operator

, where you will play a critical role in producing high-quality packaging components and folded materials for healthcare and specialty applications. If you have a passion for precision, mechanical know-how, and maintaining exceptional quality standards, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities



Set up, operate, and maintain folder gluer equipment to produce folded and glued products according to specifications and customer requirements. Monitor production to ensure proper glue application, alignment, and folding accuracy throughout the run. Perform changeovers and adjustments efficiently to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance. Conduct regular quality checks on finished work to ensure conformance with product and regulatory standards. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance to ensure smooth operation. Follow 5S principles and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Customer Specific Procedures (CSPs). Participate in continuous improvement activities, A3 projects, and process optimization initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Skills



Experience



Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or print finishing environment, with direct experience operating folder gluer equipment. Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated production setting is considered an asset.

Skills



Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance capabilities. Demonstrated ability to set up and fine-tune folding and gluing machinery. Well organized and capable of handling multiple priorities. Team-oriented with strong communication skills. Safety-focused and committed to maintaining high operational standards. Experience operating Bobst, Heidelberg, or similar folder gluer machines is an asset. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
