The Inside Salesperson is responsible for driving sales growth by managing ALL inbound inquiries and nurturing customer relationships through the completion of the sales cycle. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, providing product solutions, and ensuring a positive customer experience with each customer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement
Understand and clearly communicate the features and benefits of all trailers
Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
Proactively create detailed and complete leads and quotes in the CRM
Diligently follow up on leads, quotes, and past customer interactions to convert opportunities into sales in the CRM
Educate customers on trailer types, specifications, features, options, and financing
Upsell and cross-sell parts, options, and service packages
Prepare and present accurate and detailed sales quotes and proposals in the CRM
Maintain strong product knowledge to provide expert advice on trailer applications
Prepare preliminary used trailer appraisals on trade ins
Engaged and involved in weekly sales team meetings and in trade shows as needed
Follow company policy, processes, and procedures
Account & Relationship Management
Build long-term relationships with retail and commercial customers
Manage repeat customer by tracking preferences, purchase history, and service needs
Provide excellent customer service to ensure high satisfaction (Google Reviews) and referral business
Operational Support
Enter and update customer information, quotes, and sales orders in the CRM
Coordinate with production, administration, service, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and installation
Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate and support administration and production teams throughout the sales process
Provide feedback on customer trends, competitive activity, and inventory needs
Requirements and Experience
Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in related field, an asset
Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience required
Customer service
Experience in automotive industry an asset
Construction equipment experience an asset
Knowledge of landscaping / construction / and or contracting needs are an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Suite
Sales acumen; outgoing and personable demeanor
Entrepreneurial by nature, inquisitive and insightful
Experienced in various prospecting activities
The ability to quickly learn and retain information on Miska's wide variety of products
Well-Organized with administrative tasks
Required to work Monday to Saturday (on bi-weekly rotation)
