Job Description
Description :Duties and responsibilities include:
- First Aid \xe2\x80\x93 on-mountain guest injuries and WorkSafeBC designated worker injuries
- Incident investigation
- Risk management
- Trail maintenance
- Public relations
- Opening and closing runs
- Side-by-side operations
- Search and rescue
- Lift evacuations
- A valid and current first-aid ticket from an 80-hour first-aid course minimum. Examples of courses accepted include:
- OFA 3
- NUEC 3
- EMR, PCP or higher license (license must be issued in BC)
- Australian Ski Patrol Association Certification
- New Zealand PHEC
- Advanced downhill biking ability
- Knowledge of Big White Bike Park is considered an asset
- Previous experience as a patroller or first responder is considered an asset
