Description: To provide our guests and staff with a safe and memorable experience by being able to offer professional aid as required on the mountain.
Essential Functions: Provide front line interaction with our summer guests. Administer first aid on the mountain. Maintain accurate recording of all accident information as required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Mark, sign, open, close, all bike trails as required to ensure that safe trail conditions are present. Build, maintain and repair trails as required. Provide first aid for on-mountain bike events. Increase mountain bike safety awareness by patrolling the bike park daily. Work closely with trail crew and communicate any unsafe trail conditions. Assist other departments as required. Perform lift evacuation as required. Perform other duties as required.
Experience/Requirements: Minimum level 3 OFA Excellent risk management skills Previous experience (ski/bike patrol) Able to work well in a team environment. Must be well spoken and able to interact with guests well. Must have a valid driver license.
