Customer Service Representative, Bike Sales & Support (Calgary Location)
Job Type: Seasonal (April 1 to October 30)
Hours: 5 days per week, 7 hours per day (11 am to 6pm, weekends required; 2 weekdays off)
Compensation: $20 per hour + commission (based on bike sales)
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Support:
Greet customers, understand their needs, and recommend the best bikes/e-bikes.
Drive sales by effectively showcasing bike features and benefits.
Process sales transactions and provide after-sales support.
Customer Engagement & Communication:
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle online inquiries.
Manage and update social media platforms with promotions, new arrivals, and customer engagement content.
Website & Online Store Maintenance:
Assist with updating product listings, descriptions, and images on the online store.
Process online orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and customer communication.
Bike Assembly & Maintenance:
Assemble new bikes and e-bikes for display and sale.
Perform basic bike repairs, tune-ups, and maintenance as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Sales experience (preferably in retail or bike sales); strong ability to close deals.
Passion for cycling with a good understanding of bikes, e-bikes, and their components.
Ability to perform basic bike assembly, repairs, and maintenance.
Strong customer service skills - friendly, approachable, and helpful.
Good communication skills for in-person, phone, and email interactions.
Comfortable managing social media accounts and assisting with website updates.
Ability to process and fulfill online orders efficiently.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a retail environment.
