About the position:

UP Early Intervention Clinic, Inc. is looking for passionate, creative, and playful behaviour interventionists to join our team. We are located in the Pacific Autism Family Network (PAF-N) building -- the GoodLife Fitness Family Autism hub is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with ASD and their families, while also providing an open, unique and collaborative environment for autism service providers, organizations, clinicians and researchers.

Our operating hours are

8:30am to 4:30pm

and the clinic is

not open on weekends or evenings

. We are currently looking for a committed person to join us in a

part time or full time capacity

(minimum 25-37.5 hours per week) for either of the following day slots:

Monday-Friday

(all five days)

- various time slots

What does a day look like at UP Clinic?

Work one-to-one with a child and implement individualized Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) programs in line with the Early Start Denver Model developed by a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and Certified Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) Therapist Record client progress using online and paper data collection systems Keeping up to date on team communication and respond appropriately to oral and written feedback from the Behavioural Consultants by making necessary changes in order to follow through with suggestions made Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings, training sessions, and workshops Complete assigned/regular before and after session preparation duties Work with a dynamic team of professionals

What we are looking for:

Have a minimum of 2-years post-secondary education in a related field (psychology, education, etc.) An associate's or bachelor's degree or ECE certificate is preferred. Candidates with less coursework will be considered based on related experience. Have a minimum of one-year experience working with children ages 1-4 years Can lift a young child easily Can easily sit on the floor or crouch while playing Hold valid and current first aid training Produce a clear criminal record check Can commit to at least one year of employment Experience with ABA and/or ESDM is an asset RBT Coursework Completed (must be completed within 90 days of hire date) RBT Certification is preferred
