:
- Provides ongoing one-on-one or group intervention during sessions for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other special needs.
- Implements a comprehensive program, developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a certified Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) consultant or Registry of Autism Service Provider-Category A Behavior Consultants, that focuses on language acquisition, social skills, behavioral regulation, executive functioning and self-help skills for our clients.
-Conducts one-on-one or group drop-in sessions focusing on social skills, arts and crafts, executive functioning, or academic assistance.
-Assists the Program Director with clinic organization/maintenance and other administrative tasks related to the clinic.
- Exceptional performers after one year of employment are eligible to apply for benefits (e.g., travel allowance, cell phone allowance, extended health benefits).
Pay:
Hourly Rate:
- First month training period: $20 per hour (based on candidate's performance in training period).
- Second and Subsequent Months (After Passing Employment Performance Evaluation): Starting at $22 per hour. Part salary based (with minimum hours per week pending on billable hours clause) and part hourly based.
-An annual (or semi-annual) Employment Performance Evaluation will be conducted to determine possible hourly increases for this position.
Working hours:
-Maximum 8 hours per day.
-A least one to two days off per week
-Expected to work either every Saturday or Sunday
-Please note that this position does not follow conventional work hours; the schedule is expected to be highly variable, and candidates should be prepared for fluctuations based on client needs and session availability.
-Expected to work 10-15 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Energetic, communicative, engaging individuals who enjoy working with children.
-The job necessitates an individual who comprehends and can exemplify accountability and integrity.
- Post-secondary education in a related field is advantageous but not obligatory.
- Must be 19 years of age or older.
- Current criminal record check is required.
