Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with children and their families to provide therapeutic support, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles, particularly in pediatric settings, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Conduct assessments to evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of children. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support children in achieving their behavioral goals. Collaborate with parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Collect and analyze data to monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies as needed. Provide case management services, including coordinating care with other providers. Stay informed about current research and advancements in behavioral therapy practices.

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting, particularly in pediatrics or special education. Proficiency in data collection methods for assessing patient progress. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members. Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with case management principles and practices.
