Job Description
Canadian manufacturer of automotive specialty chemicals and shop supply is currently seeking batcher operator / filler for our production department. If you are energetic, committed and in good physical condition this opportunity may be for you! Responsible for carefully measuring, weighing and filling raw materials into product batches according to formulations and ensuring accurate filling while adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices throughout procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Measure, weigh and record materials according to batch record sheets to produce finished goods Package finished goods from completed batches Provide general labour duties in a plant/warehouse setting Labelling of containers Stacking and lifting of heavy items (repetitively up to 25 kg) General cleaning such as but not limited to sweeping & mopping floors and cleaning warehouse racks Use of motorized equipment such as forklift equipment Assisting other warehouse/plant staff with various duties such as shipping and receiving Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to meet physical demands, including reaching, bending, walking, standing, and performing repetitive actions Ability to lift up to 25 kg, on a regular basis throughout the shift Basic mathematical knowledge Self-motivated; willingness to take initiative and accept responsibility with minimal direction Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Forklift experience is an asset
