We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Experienced Bar Manager to lead our beverage program. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of improving profitability, maintaining high quality standards, and fostering a positive, dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
Manage multiple drink orders efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to health and safety standards.
Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours, including nightclubs, banquets, or catering events.
Demonstrate strong time management skills to serve guests promptly during peak times.
Uphold responsible alcohol service practices in accordance with legal requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Bar management, preferably in a high-volume or upscale environment.
Exceptional knowledge of classic, contemporary & modern cocktails, spirits, wine, cider and beer.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control and profit/loss reporting.
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must have a valid Smart serve.
