Bartender - Fine Dining

Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.

Position Overview:

As a Bartender in a fine dining environment, your role is to provide outstanding service, ensuring utmost customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include mastering our drink menu, crafting both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, processing payments, and efficiently managing bar inventory. Maintaining a clean and well-organized bar area and accurately balancing cash at the end of each shift are essential aspects of your role.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
• Have detailed knowledge of all drinking menu items
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Collect and process payments
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Maintain the bar area stocked, clean and organized
• Balance your cash at the end of each shift

Requirements:

• Must be bilingual (English and French) and 18 years or older
• Past experience in an upscale or fine dining environment
• 2 years experience in mixology
• Deep understanding of cocktail recipes, flavor profiles and mixology techniques (essential)
• Proficiency in various spirits, liqueurs, bitters and other cocktail ingredients (essential)
• Knowledge of Sake and Shoju (asset)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of the shift
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays

Exigences:

• Doit \xc3\xaatre bilingue (anglais et fran\xc3\xa7ais) et avoir 18 ans ou plus
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience pass\xc3\xa9e dans un environnement haut de gamme ou de restauration fine
• 2 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en mixologie
• Compr\xc3\xa9hension approfondie des recettes de cocktails, des profils de saveurs et des techniques de mixologie (essentiel)
• Ma\xc3\xaetrise de diverses eaux-de-vie, liqueurs, amers et autres ingr\xc3\xa9dients de cocktails (essentiel)
• Connaissance du sak\xc3\xa9 et du shoju (atout)
• Excellentes comp\xc3\xa9tences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles
• Doit \xc3\xaatre capable de travailler debout pendant toute la dur\xc3\xa9e du quart de travail
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa0 effectuer plusieurs t\xc3\xa2ches en restant calme et professionnel dans un environnement \xc3\xa0 rythme rapide
