Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your role will involve engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring that each drink is crafted to perfection. Duties

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages and food according to standard recipes.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including the coffee station and dining area.
- Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in food preparation and service, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations in accordance with food handling guidelines.

Skills

- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cashiering practices and POS systems is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.

Pay: Up to $15.65 per hour
