Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista and Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee, food and customer service, providing an exceptional experience for our guests. As a Barista/Server, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, drinks and food items, maintaining cleanliness in the cafe, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate coffee machines and equipment efficiently while ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage the cash register with precision. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the cafe area, equipment, and utensils. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines in all food handling and preparation tasks.

Skills

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality in food preparation. Strong time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks during busy periods. Previous experience in food service or cashiering is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated when needed.

Pay: From $15.70 per hour
