Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on exceptional customer service, team management, and operational efficiency. As the Floor Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an outstanding dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company policies. Manage and train staff, including interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing development. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen facilities. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the food service industry. Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus. Barista experience is also desirable for candidates interested in managing beverage services.
