Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to manage staff effectively, and a thorough understanding of restaurant operations.

Responsibilities



Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service. Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste and optimize efficiency. Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills and maintain a motivated team environment. Implement effective cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve operational goals. Foster a positive dining experience for guests through attentive service and prompt resolution of any issues. Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Skills



Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally. Experience in managing shift operations, including staffing levels and workflow optimization. Ability to train staff in food handling practices, safety protocols, and service excellence. Strong leadership qualities with experience in team management and development. Background in hospitality management or fine dining experience is preferred. Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant setting. Experience in casual dining, quick service & fast food environments is advantageous. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
