Responsibilities:
Read and follow production schedules and recipes, accurately measuring and mixing ingredients.
Shape, mola, proof, and bake a variety of artisan breads, including sourdough, brioche, and specialty loaves.
Process dough through all stages, from fermentation to final baking and packaging.
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and appearance.
Meet production deadlines to ensure packaging and delivery schedules are met.
Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
Lift up to 40 Ibs independently on occasion.
Work efficiently in a high-volume environment while multitasking.
Open or close the bakery production area as required, ensuring fresh products are available daily.
Work overnight shifts as needed.
Qualifications:
??1+ years of experience working with sourdough and brioche.
??Food Handler's certification required.
??Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
??Passion for artisanal bread and baking, with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
??Strong time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
