Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products are prepared, decorated, and presented to the highest standards. You will work closely with experienced bakers and contribute to creating delightful baked goods that bring joy to our customers.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of various baked goods, including breads, pastries, and cakes. Participate in cake decorating and ensure that all products meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and bakery area in compliance with food safety regulations. Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to proper food handling procedures. Package finished products for display and sale, ensuring they are visually appealing. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and answering any questions they may have. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus. Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques. Excellent customer service skills to enhance customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with the food industry and baking processes. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
