As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our bakery, assisting with food preparation, baking, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and baking of various bakery items, cookies, pastries, and cakes. Decorate cakes and other baked goods according to customer specifications and bakery standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations. Package finished products for display and sale, ensuring appealing presentation. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their orders and inquiries. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality. Adhere to food handling guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of cake decorating techniques is a plus. Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and baking processes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Understanding of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with packaging baked goods for sale is desirable. Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
