Position Overview:
We're seeking a motivated and reliable General Bakery Assistant to join our team for the busy season. This is a hands-on role that supports our production team with daily baking operations and packaging.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily production, including dough prep, shaping, and finishing
Portion, label, and package baked goods for wholesale and retail orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment
Support dishwashing and sanitation routines
Assist with inventory rotation and ingredient prep
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Requirements:
Previous experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food production environment is an asset (training provided)
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods
Strong attention to detail and teamwork attitude
Punctual, dependable, and willing to work both weekdays and weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
