Kitchen crew members hustle in a busy environment working collaboratively to produce wholesome foods that are made in house using fresh and locally sourced ingredients as much as possible. The kitchen crew share tasks which include food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment. Food preparation entails baking bread, cutting vegetables, cooking various meats & vegetables, preparing soups, sauces, dressings, and other ingredients for sandwiches & salads for dine-in, takeaway, catering and events. We encourage learning, growth and exploring of culinary skills within alignment of the cafe food philosophy and offerings. Candidates must be team players able to work independently in a commercial kitchen. The job requires regular cleaning, sanitization & proper waste management. Communication and social skills are important to become a successful candidate. Note: We work with all foods including meat, dairy, gluten, nuts and other common allergens.
