Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Parts and Service Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and customer service, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen, ensuring that our clients receive the best solutions for their automotive needs.

Our shop is a hybrid of auto repairs and sales, combined with customized motorcycle sales and service, so experience with motorcycles is welcomed.

Responsibilities

To provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns regarding automotive services. Assist customers in understanding their vehicle's needs and recommend appropriate services or repairs. Utilize POS systems for processing transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service orders using standardized auto shop management systems. Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders efficiently and ensure timely service delivery. Strong communication skills with service technicians is a priority. Engage in retail sales activities, utilizing negotiation skills to promote additional services or products. Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Uphold high standards of communication, both in person and over the phone, ensuring a positive experience for all customers. Participate in marketing initiatives to promote services and enhance customer engagement.

Experience

Previous experience is required, with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes. Experience in retail sales or sales management is advantageous, along with strong math skills for accurate transaction processing. Familiarity with maintenance procedures and best practices within the automotive industry is a plus.
