Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally, addressing their service needs and inquiries.
Accurately document customer information and vehicle details in the service management system.
Assess customer concerns and recommend appropriate services based on mechanical knowledge and automotive repair practices.
Communicate effectively with technicians to relay customer requests and ensure clarity on service requirements.
Provide detailed estimates for services, including parts and labor costs, while promoting additional services through upselling techniques.
Manage the service schedule to optimize workflow and minimize customer wait times.
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of payments received.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
Qualifications
Proven experience in service department, preferably within an automotive dealership environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand automotive repair processes.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining a positive rapport with customers.
Experience with cash handling procedures is preferred.
A detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
