We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support throughout their experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service, sales, and automotive repair, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers.

Duties

Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival at the service department. Assess customer needs and provide recommendations for automotive services based on mechanical knowledge. Schedule appointments and manage the service workflow efficiently. Communicate with technicians regarding customer concerns and service requirements. Provide estimates for repairs and services while effectively upselling additional services when appropriate. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of all transactions. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs. Maintain a clean and organized service area, adhering to dealership policies and procedures.

Requirements

Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Mechanic experience or strong mechanical knowledge is essential. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. Proven sales ability, particularly in upselling automotive services. Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Pay: $18.50-$30.00 per hour
