We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and expertise. Your ability to communicate effectively with both customers and technicians will be crucial in delivering exceptional service and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Duties

Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs. Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge to answer questions. Manage the service appointment schedule, ensuring efficient workflow in the service department. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of payments. Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle condition. Collaborate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services and repairs. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized service area, adhering to dealership standards.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. Experience in cash handling and financial transactions. Proficient in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience. Solid understanding of automotive repair processes and mechanical knowledge. Previous experience in a dealership environment is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.65-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
